John Salywon

Hi, my name is John Salywon. I am 16 years old and live in Arizona in the United States. I can’t wait to make some new memories with you and welcome you to camp this year, we are going to have so much fun, even on rainy days!

I went to Green Grove for 2 years, and my dorkiest and favorite memory of camp (an embarrassing one) was when I was nine years old and only brought one pair of underwear for a week of camp .

If I could have one superpower, it would be to read minds because I always wonder what people are thinking.

Something I tried in my life and would never ever want to try again would be Brussels sprouts, my least favorite food, but if it was an experience, it would definitely be like doing an AP test (it’s so boring). If I were an animal, I would probably be a lobster because they’re pretty smart and live a while.

My favorite Ukrainian food is the cinnamon scuffles and borscht.

Looking forward to meeting all you new campers and seeing some friends I made when I was at camp.
