Tyan Cherepuschak

• Hello everyone, my name is Tyan (or for short: Ty).

• I’m from Saskatchewan, but I’ve spent the past few years at university studying in British Columbia, Cuba, and Europe. It’s always nice to be home in the summer!

• I’m proud of our Ukrainian-Canadian culture, and I’m capable of talking your ear off about Saskatchewan and Ukrainian-Canadian history if given the chance.

• My favorite Ukrainian foods are pierogies, holubtsi, and paska. Two of my favorite times of the year are the Mosaic multicultural festival in Regina and making pysanky with my family and friends at Easter time.

• I really like listening to music and reading about history—it would be super cool to one day be a part of the Ukrainian arts or literature scene in Canada.

• I’m really excited to be a youth and teen counselor at Green Grove Camp this summer! See you all soon!
