Hi everyone, my name is Svitlana and I am glad to be your volunteer this year at Green Grove Camp and to spend unforgettable and fulfilling days with you!

I’m from Ukraine and I love sports and an active lifestyle. I am very energetic and hope to make many unforgettable memories with each of you! I have always been interested in being a Volunteer or Counselor at camp and now I get to be your volunteer counselor I’m really looking forward to this summer. I like making new friends and encouraging you to try new things at camp this year. I will help you to learn Ukrainian and in turn, you can help me to better my English. I adore Ukrainian Culture and everything related to it. Starting from traditions and ending with delicious dishes. I felt all this a year ago when I was a camper at Green Grove Camp. We danced Ukrainian dances and sang songs, sat, and lit a bonfire, cooked Ukrainian perogies, painted paintings, and embroidered cross-stitching. I look forward to meeting all of you at our camp this summer and having fun and meeting new people.
